Blondes to Brunette, brunettes to blonde | Balmain AW16

With the Kardashian family constantly changing their hair colours I was wondering when Kendall would be next to join the bandwagon - and now she has. Oliver Rousteing has managed to change the hair colours of some of the most famous models right now for his AW16 Balmain collection. BFF's Kendall and Gigi seemed to have swapped hair, with Gigi turning a chocolate brown and Kendall a platinum blonde. I personally love the colours on both of them! They're the type of people who can pull off any hair colour and the show has proven it!

They weren't the only two to change their hair colour though. Alessandra Ambrosio, who is usually brown haired, was spotted with straw blonde hair (or a wig, who knows?) as well as Devon Windsor, Lily Donaldson, Lindsey Wixson and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who are usually blonde changed to a brunette hair colour, too. Whether or not these are permanent changes is still not known but I have to say it was such a surprise to see them with this hair and is definitely something that will bring people to look at the show.

The show itself included some of the usual heavy embellishment high glamour pieces as it usually does. Balmain is one of my favourite brands and this surprise has just made it even more so. A lot of designers won't do something as risky as change a models hair because it really is their holy grail and could potentially stop other designers wanting them to model (but lets be honest, who would turn down Gigi Hadid?). It has certainly caused a media frenzy, it's all anyone can talk about right now.
