Ideal woman jewellery line | Allie Pohl

Allie Pohl is an La Based artist who has recently launched her new jewellery line, Ideal woman. The pieces were created to question feminine beauty in the media. 

The jewellery takes the siluhette of a Barbie Doll and the artist hopes that it will challenge the unrealistic ideas of perfection that has been shown in the media. Allie says that the jewellery will 'act as an agent of change and a contribution to female empowerment'. 

It's meant to be a reminder to woman that it's unnatural and over exaggerated portrayal of 'beauty'.
