Brand collaborations

Brand collaborations are becoming really popular, some of the most known ones are designer collaborations with H&M, Stella Mcartney X Adidas, Kayne West X Adidas and the most recent Rihanna X Puma collab. This is because both brands involved mutually benefit from it. There's been collaborations with other industry's too like Lego X Crocs, and Converse X Maison Margiela. I thought I'd share three collaborations that were happening soon and that I'm excited to see.

Alexa Chung for M&S

Alexa Chung is using LFW 16' to showcase her range. At first I was wondering 'why M&S?' but she is a big fan of the brand and was wearing a suede skirt from the brand last winter on her Instagram and the skirt sold out instantly. Another collaboration she has recently done is the AJ jeans collection. It's a 31 piece collection with a very vintage, 70's vibe, coming out in April.

Rodarte X & Other Stories

Rodarte and & Other stories have teamed up to create a ready - to - wear range, another high street and high end collaboration. Not only that but it's going to contain shoes and accessories, too. It's going to arrive on March 17th, so that's something to be excited about.

River Island and Sibling

I'm not a huge fan of River Island, but I have to admit that I love the Design Forum programme that they are supporting for new and upcoming designers. It started in 2008, Sibling is the latest brand to collaborate with River Island. The collection is described to be 'A thank you' to the supporters and fans of the brand who can't afford the mainline collection of Sibling, and will 'Ooze a carefree, happy and fun vibe'.
