# What I ate

00:09

I'm back with more pictures of more food (because who doesn't love food?!) and this time it's what I ate in New York!

I don't have many pictures of the food I ate there because usually when I ate I was fat too hungry to even think about bringing out my phone but I thought I'd share the ones that I did have. I'm not even going to lie, I was most excited about the food when I thought about going back to the Big Apple.

Uncle Sam's - This was probably one of the best burgers I had there (and I ate a lot of burgers)! And luckily for us the restaurant was literally across the road so it meant that we didn't have to walk very far which was a bonus as we'd been walking for hours every day. The thing I also love about American food is that it's so cheap, too. This whole thing must have only been around $7 and it was organic which is always a plus!

The Counter - As much as I did love this burger (filled with onion, lettuce, mozzarella cheese, jalapeños and cucumbers) the experience I had whilst there. Not only did we get barely chips but it ended up being soon expensive! They made us pay a very huge tip even though the waitress didn't even smile at us once and changed my $4.50 for a bottle of water!! ridiculous

Street food - This was probably my favourite meal of the whole trip. Although it doesn't look like much this was AMAZING. We'd just came out of the MoMA and was walking back to the subway when we smelt something delicious. It was only when we started to walk forward did we see a massive queue for this truck. Bare in mind that we rarely saw anyone at food trucks during our time so to see a massive line formed we knew this was the place to be. It's basically just a big bowl of shredded chicken, pitta bread, rice and salad and cost only $5. We ate in on the steps under the lights of the tallest buildings and it was the perfect setting.

The Harold - the last supper. This was the last breakfast I had in New York, and the best. These chocolate pancakes were to DIE for!!! When you cut into them chocolate oozed out and it was so heavenly. I could't decide between this and the french toast but thought I can't go to America and not have pancakes. I couldn't even finish it though there was so much!
